GP changes at Ventnor Medical Practice

Dear patient,

It is with great sadness to inform you that Dr Stevenson will be leaving Ventnor Medical Practice on 28^th February 2023.  Following 7 years of dedicated service and after much thought and consideration, Dr Stevenson has reached this decision for personal reasons.

Dr Doggett has also decided to reduce his clinical sessions at the Practice; however, I would like to reassure you that he is not leaving and nor is he retiring. Whilst you may not have the opportunity to see Dr Doggett on such a regular basis, he will continue to provide ongoing support to Ventnor Medical Practice and care to our patients.

We are delighted to announce that Dr Nikolay Tomov will be joining the Practice as a GP Partner on 1^st March 2023. Given the current difficulties the healthcare sector faces with the recruitment of healthcare professionals, we feel this has been a very positive outcome for Ventnor Medical Practice and our patients. Dr Tomov is currently providing locum support at the Practice and has quickly become an asset to our team.

I would like to reassure you that the upcoming changes will not compromise any access to services or level of care that we provide to our patients. The entire team are working hard to ensure a smooth transition with minimal impact on our community.

It is a very exciting start to the new year with new beginnings.
